2. Click the 'Add a site' button and enter your sites domain name.

3. On the 'Verify Ownership' page, choose the 'Add a meta tag to your site's home page' option.

6. In another browser window, log into the Spring Manager.

7. Create a new page in the Assets tab (or edit the existing page if it has an ID of 'google-site-verification').

Ensure the page has the following settings:

  • Title: Google Site Verification
  • ID: google-site-verification
  • Status: <Online>
  • Value: <paste the google site verification code>

If the google-site-verification page already existed it probably has an existing code in the Value field. Simply add the new code on a new line and leave the existing code in place.
